 About the Society

College of Minimal Access Surgery:
The College of Minimal Access Surgery is an independently registered public charitable trust, established in 2016. It is engaged in non-profit education activities in the field of Minimal Access Surgery. It seeks to enhance and ensure a high quality of surgical skills and knowledge acquisition among the surgical fraternity in India. For this purpose, it seeks to carry out various training activities and also provide an opportunity to learn the finer skills of minimal access surgery through online digital education as well as physical conferences and workshops. It is run with the academic support of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI)

Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India:
The Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) was established in 2003 as a section of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI). Currently, with more than 10800 members, it is the largest section of ASI and arguably, the largest professional body dedicated to Minimal Access Surgery in the world. The primary objectives of AMASI include the promotion, education, encouragement and advancment of the study and practice of science and art of surgery with specialisation in Minimal Access Surgery. It seeks to encourage scientific research and experiment for further advancement of surgical procedures with specific reference to Minimal Access Surgery.

  About the Journal

Annals of Minimal Access Surgery & Allied Sciences, a publication of College of Minimal Access Surgery and Association of Minimal Access Surgeon of India, is a peer-reviewed print + online  journal. The journal's full text is available online at http://www.amasas.org. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

  Scope of the journal

The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of Minimal Access Surgery in different Specialities like, Surgery/Gastro/colorectal. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
